Carillon Beach 305

The apartment needs maintenance, smelly, dirty furniture, period stains on blanket, skimpy towels….I could go on but u get the picture.

The area is very scenic..

We rented LSI property for Gulf Coast Jam. We checked in on Friday and checked out on Monday. The morning after we checked in, we cooked breakfast and cleaned up. This is when we noticed that the sink was leaking. We realized the p-trap wasn't even connected. Everything I put under the sink was covered in eggs and dirty water. The smoke alarm started beeping as well. We notified them and was told they would be out to fix it. No one ever came. This was in addition to the dishwasher not working, the fan in the living room not working and only having three blades, the tv in the master doesn't work, and the towel holder in the bathroom was laying on the ground. When I sent a message there was no response. Then when I contacted Airbnb, she declined the request and admitted that no one could come in the 4 days we were there but she was sorry. This made the trip very hard due to us having all meals at the condo and having to wash the dishes in the bathroom sink.

First time using an Air BnB. Enjoyed it would do it again, convenient and easy process.
TV didn’t work, but didn’t need it anyway.

We were disappointed in finding that there was no wifi, roku on only one tv (bedroom only) Living room tv was useless. The living room fan was in operable due to a missing fan blade and also a missing light cover. The kitchen was OK and it was clean. However, I feel like it could have been better stocked. There was only one kitchen towel and no kitchen dish cloths whatsoever. The view of the lake behind the unit was pretty, but beach access was difficult and the laundry service on the fourth floor was not convenient. There was communication between us and the renters, but nothing was resolved and there was definitely not a follow up message to make sure our request and concerns were resolved.

Condo has potential to be nice but right now it is badly dated. Needs new furniture, new bedding and bathroom needs lots of updating.

It was dirty and dusty. Just needs some TLC!

This condo is not nice on the inside. There is a lot of wear and tear. Bring extra towels, blankets, a mattress pad for the pull-out, your own pillows, and a broom/other cleaning products. The shower fills the tub while showering and then take 30 minutes to drain. When we arrived, the balcony was covered in sand and the floors inside the condo were sandy too. The air conditioner and the ceiling fans worked well. Even though the kitchen sink is tiny, the kitchen was functional. The location is great - it is just run down for the price you pay.

I normally don’t write reviews, but sometimes little things would make all the difference on your trip.

I was traveling for work so I didn’t care much for location. Needed a good shower and a good bed.

The bath tub was clogged and The water reached about 7in on a bathtub that wasn’t the cleanest I ever shower in.
The shower curtain was moldy. Tv wasn’t working and the place wasn’t very clean.

The location is not great if you want to be close to the beach, but for me it didn’t really matter, I wasn’t there for the beach.
Under the hotel there are bars, restaurants and stores, a plus for me.

Communication with host was quick and efficient, another plus.

I paid $1200 for 3 nights and cleanness and things working was something I was counting on.

This is a review for Carillon Beach Resort room #305.

We stay in PCB 3-4 times a year. We took a chance on this last minute as I just returned from deployment And it was one of the few places left to rent.

First off the location isn’t bad and the pool was a nice size.

The room #305 was not very clean. The shower curtain really needs to be changed it was very gross. The Coffee pot was broken. The whole place had some type of film on stuff when we got there.

Overall I would NOT recommend this rental to anyone.

Excellent value for a beach walkable condo in the gorgeous, quiet Carillon Beach neighborhood. The view of the lake is spectacular from the balcony with a nice table with 2 chairs. It is about a 10 minute walk to a few different beach access points and there’s a free golf cart shuttle available. The beautiful white sand beach was well maintained. You get access to a pool just for the condos and a few other neighborhood pools including one on the beach. One of the two Hot Tubs was off. Condo was missing a few expected kitchen items. The furniture was functional but a bit dated. Bedroom has a hallway but no door separating it from the living room. The thermostat had daily programs that need to be set for each day. The noise from the main road was pretty loud in the bedroom so bring some ear plugs.
